We are looking for a creative and efficient individual to join our team as a Senior Partnership Success Specialist. This position will support Action Network’s partnerships program by helping to identify and target new partnership prospects and manage existing ones, This position will also help determine sales strategies, manage our sales CRM, onboard and train new partners, and provide support to our existing partners via Zendesk and Pipedrive to promote overall partnership success.
This full-time position will report to the Director of Partnerships. This is a remote position with no location requirement.
Identifying, targeting, and engaging sales leads for new partnerships
Collaborate with the Director of Partnerships to determine sales and strategy approaches
Maintain and expand the Action Network’s database of prospects by conducting research to find new leads
Develop a calendar of activities to continually engage target prospects
Serve as point of contact for renewal conversations, managing contractual and billing inquiries from partners
Negotiate prices and prepare contracts for new partners
Help manage sales CRM Pipedrive and maintain sales and pipeline dashboards
Support overall relationships with assigned partners, to increase adoption and expansion, ensure retention and maintain partner satisfaction
Conduct toolset demos, on-boarding, and training for partner prospects and new partners
Respond to partner support and technical inquires via Zendesk as needed
Digital tool sales and customer success experience
Experience with sales CRMs, managing pipelines, and lead generation
Experience with Action Network and/or similar email tools.
Strong written communication skills with exceptional attention to detail.
Interest in new ways of organizing, using technology, and building infrastructure for a long-term movement.
Prior experience with digital organizing and mobilizing for campaigns and advocacy programs.
Background in creating data reports and dashboards.
Creativity, critical thinking and a commitment to collaboration.
A belief in helping organizations achieve their goals and build power.
Some experience with providing tech tool support, training, and on-boarding.
Familiarity with Zendesk, Pipedrive, or similar customer support and sales track platforms.
Familiarity with HTML/CSS, MS Access, MS SQL Server, and/or writing SQL queries a bonus.
An approachable & patient demeanor when working with team members internally and partners externally.
5-7 years of experience in political organizing, sales, tech advocacy, or client services
Analytical and process-oriented mindset
Demonstrated ability to manage large, multi-stakeholder projects with exceptional results
Experience with training and/or configuring SAAS software solutions.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
