NutritionFacts.org is seeking a full-time staff member to assist in our social media department, working closely with the Director of Nutrition and Social Media Strategy. Social media is one of our most important avenues for reaching our supporters, growing our audience, and achieving our mission. This position offers a variety of responsibilities, remote work, and the opportunity to join a small, dedicated team. Note that this position is currently more administrative than creative. No previous social media management is necessary.
The ideal Social Media Administrative Assistant is able to organize multiple projects and platforms simultaneously, has the capacity to learn and excel at using new software and tools, is detail-oriented, and enjoys working on a remote team with strong communication skills and an interest in collaborating with others.
Responsibilities include:
Managing and organizing the social media content calendar
Scheduling content using both social media scheduling systems and the administrative functions of the platforms themselves
Creating a variety of templated graphics for promotion of our videos, blogs, quotes, recipes, and more
Being available for live Q&As and webinars
Gathering and organizing quotes and other content items
Manage our Pinterest account
Manage the recipe pages on NutritionFacts.org
Other tasks as needed or as added as the position grows

Experience with the following (or similar) platforms: Buffer, Creator Studio, Asana, Photoshop, Illustrator
Adept at using social media: Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest
Fluent in Spanish or Mandarin
