Oceana’s Marketing and Communications department is looking for a Social Media Manager to manage a fast paced, high volume workload. She/he will work independently and in teams to meet deadlines and accomplish tasks. This position reports to the Senior Director of Strategic Marketing and Communications, this person will drive Oceana’s social media strategy to support our campaigns, brand strength and fundraising efforts while targeting diverse audiences from general population to existing activists to influential decision-makers. The Social Media Manager manages the Social Media Specialist position.
The ideal candidate will be action-oriented, instill trust, customer service, ensures accountability, and work well with others; have strong experience in managing leading social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and LinkedIn.
